Seyaj discusses enhancing democracy, human rights among students
Seyaj Organization of Childhood Protection in collaboration with the Education Ministry has launched a series of debates with school principals in Sana'a about enhancing democracy and human rights among children.
The debates that include 30 primary schools in Sana'a, Hadhramout and Taiz aim at extension of the second phase of the " Young Activist Project" through comics, training of teenagers who will take part in defending child rights through media and other activities funded by the European Union.
An inclusive report will be reviewed about the activities of the first stage of the project (2009-2011) that covered only nine schools.
Agendas of the second phase and cooperation mechanisms will be reviewed to yield fruitful results.
It is set that debates will continue in governorates of Taiz and Hadhramout during the up-coming days.
