Brief note on Seyaj

Seyaj is human rights, independent, non-profit organization, which mainly concerns on defend and uphold children rights in Yemen.

Seyaj launched its first concrete activity on April 29, 2008, entitled "The marriage of the young girls in the view of the Sharia, law and traditions."

Seyaj is going to work on achieving its ultimate goals and topped by the right of the child to have a dignified life and to get his/her basic rights such as education, health and security.

The headquarters is in the Capital Secretary while the actual work will mainly focus on the urban areas. Seyaj will enforce its goals through holding numerous activities in different governorates in Yemen, particularly the areas where children are mostly abused.
